Our 132nd Annual General Meeting was held on Tuesday 7 October at The Mansion House and was well attended by MPGA members, London Mayors and representatives of many gardening organisations.
The Spade Award was presented to Anne Holman, Campaign Manager for London in Bloom, by Lord Davidson.....

Annual General Meeting 2013
Our 131st Annual General Meeting was held on Wednesday 2 October at The Maughan Library in Chancery Lane.
Councillor Charles Williams, Mayor of Kensington and Chelsea, with the Mayoress Mrs June Williams and Ray Brodie, Park Manager of Kensington Gardens and Brompton Cemetery.
The London Spade Award was presented to Barbara Wright, Chairman of the Rookery Centenary Committee, to celebrate the 2013 centenary and restoration of the Rookery Garden in Streatham, London Borough of Lambeth
The Old Church Memorial Garden Marylebone High Street
Following the granting of a Bench for the restoration of the Old Church Memorial Garden in Marylebone High Street, Marjorie Dowbiggin (Treasurer) and Shirley Brihi (Publicity) were invited to the official opening in November 2012. Queen's Diamond Jubilee Event - Wild London
The 'Wild London' Festival took place on Tuesday 15 May in Richmond Park to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the Capital's parks, gardens and open spaces.
The MPGA was one of the organisations invited to attend this prestigious event. We were delighted when HRH the Duke of Edinburgh, who accompanied the Queen to the event, stopped to enquire about the MPGA and signed our visitors' book before leaving.
